Sleepy Mallards On Logs

 These pictures were taken at Johnstown castle. Nearly all the mallards were having a rest on these nearby logs.

I love this picture the best because it looks like the mallard is laughing! :)

A ducks daily life, eat, drink, swim and sleep

I love these pictures of  duck.  They were taken at Johnstown castle in Wexford. Sorry the resolution isn't good in some of these pictures, but I still love them.

He's shaking his head here, which is a difficult shot to get.

Algae

 I love these pictures of the algae on Johnstown castle lake, it shows the individual pieces of algae aswell as the sky above. Johnstown castle lake is becoming a bit over-run with it though but it is still a beautiful place to visit. One of my personal best places for photos.

Dying Leaf

 I love these pictures of a dying leaf. The colours I find are the most amazing about these photos, the vibrant green of the stem and the auburn colour of the dying leaf. These photos were taken on my trip to Johnstown castle as will a few of my pictures in the days to come.

A Spiders Web

 These pictures were taken at Johnstown castle. I love these photos because it captures the light between the cracks in the trees. There were far more webs around the tree but this one was particularly nice.
